Mireille Levert Since 1975, Mireille Levert has illustrated children's books and magazines articles. Her work has been exhibited in Canada and internationally and won numerous awards, including the Governor General's Literary Award for Illustration.
Paul Almond Paul Almond is one of Canada’s preeminent film and television directors. He has directed and produced more than 130 television dramas for the CBC in Canada, the BBC, ABC, and Granada Television in the U.K. A trilogy of films that he wrote, directed and produced (Isabel, Act of the Heart, and Journey) is considered part of the Canadian film canon. In 2003, he became an Office of the Order of Canada. He has now turned his talents to writing a series of novels based on his own family’s pioneering adventures in Canada: The Alford Saga.
